Completion of the project is expected to help drive the long-awaited development in the industrial park. The industrial park is adjacent to Clinton Municipal Airport, U.S. 30 and Mississippi River, providing multimodal diversity for region. Public funding provided the resources to construct the initial connection and infrastructure to Union Pacific Railroads major mainline rail corridor.Via Rail also assisted in the site development of the first two tenants in the park and initiated the overall Master Plan for future expansion.
